Dear Friends, Wanted to give you an update on Safe Harbor Baptist Children's Home and Orphanage. We praise the Lord that the goal for the rent has been met. Our rent is now paid up until August 2018. CHRISTMAS FOR OUR CHILDREN. At present we have received $1200.00 toward the $2,000 needed. Our Christmas offering will allow us to buy the children new shoes, New Traditional outfit, Toys for Christmas and a Christmas party. Please pray that the remaining $800.00 needed to fulfill this will come in within the next two weeks. Your prayers and gift would be greatly appreciated. October News letter 2016

This is our current News Letter. There are some very important prayer request in the news letter. Please take time to read and pray about these needs.

Dear Friends, Safe Harbor Baptist Ministries Inc. has a 1986 F150 ford lariat. It was given to the Ministry to use in collection of items and mission work back in 2012. The engine is worn out, It quit running so some friends did a complete tune up, and got it running, then a few weeks later it quit at the hospital and I had it towed back to the house. Last week I had it towed to a mechanic and he found that the ignition module was not working, after putting it in it was still... not running well. A dignostic test showe that the engine is worn out. I have a new rebuilt engine that we were going to send to Nigeria to put in the 1990 F150 I left there but it was not worth repairing after setting out in the weather. The engine will fit the 1986 and we have all the new parts to go with it. I am praying for a mechanic to install the new rebuilt engine in the truck and donate their time and labor to the lord to fix the truck. If the Lord does not send someone then I will try to sell the truck and engine to pay down on another truck. Please make this a matter of prayer. Below is a copy of our current prayer letter. In the letter we wrote about the funds still needed to clear the container of goods for the orphanage in Nigeria when it arrives. In the letter we had $6100.00 come in of the $9600.00 needed. Today we received a call with two donations totaling 2440.00 pledged.  That leaves us with on needing $990.00 to complete the funds needed for customs. Please pray that the remaining funds come in this week.

Update on the shipping of a container of Humanitarian supplies to Safe Harbor Baptist Children's Home and Orphanage in Nigeria. We praise the Lord that we now have reached $1910.00  of the $10,000.00 needed to pay a customs agent and customs taxes on the $250,000.00 plus of goods for Orphans, vulnerable children, widow's children, and village school children. Update on clean water deep Bore Hole

 

The clean water Bore Hole has been dug and now the Orphanage has clean drinking water and bath water. Praise the Lord for his provisions. Thank all of you who gave to this need.
