ARE YOU LACKING SOMETHING IN YOUR LIFE: CHECK AND SEE

In the passage that we are about to read 2 out of the 3 people mentioned lacked something in their life. /What were they missing? Check out your life?
(Luke 10:30 [KJ
And Jesus answering said,
A certain [man] went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded [him], and departed, leaving [him] half dead.
And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked
[on him], and passed by on the other side.
But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion
[on him],
And went to
[him], and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave
[them] to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him,
Go, and do thou likewise.

The three men in this story were presented with a situation that required their attention but only one had the right heart to do what was right.
The first person: Totally unconcerned for other perishing
The Second person: Totally curious but did not want to get involved
The Third person: Saw a need and was willing to do something about it even though he would not gain anything for his actions but it would cost him instead.

Two of these Three lacked COMPASSION THEY DID NOT LOVE THEIR NEIGHBOR AS THE LORD COMMANDS.

I want to share a similiar story with you. Which catagory would you want to fit into the First person: totally unconcerned, the Second person: curious but not willing to help, or the Third person who would do something about the situation.

Here is the true story:
Nigeria has a population of over 160 million souls. There are 9.5 million orphans and every 5 seconds one dies because no one cared for their souls. Safe Harbor Baptist Children's Home and Orphanage was established to rescue these orphans one at a time. Presently we do not have enough monthly support to take care of the 9 children we have and we need to take more. We need $1500.00 a month but only have $350.00 coming in. We need 130 people to give only $10.00 a month to help us take care of these orphans and take in more. I have told you the story showed you the pictures now I pray that you will be in the catagory of the Third person and help. Our heart aches each day for the perishing orphans in Nigeria.
